Account information: Name, email address, mobile phone number (optional), city, and optional profile details you provide.
Usage data: Pages visited, events RSVP'd, venues checked into, posts made, and other activity on the Platform.
Device data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.
Payment data: Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Provide and improve the Platform and its features
• Send transactional emails (account verification, order confirmations)
• Send newsletters if you opted in (unsubscribe anytime)
• Send engagement emails like event reminders (opt out in Settings)
• Send SMS messages if you opted in (see SMS Messaging section below)
• Calculate and display your points, tier, and leaderboard ranking
• Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Platform
Opt-in is required. We will never send you SMS messages unless you have specifically opted in by checking the SMS opt-in box on our registration page or in your account settings.
What we send: If you opt in, USA Pool Madness may send you the following types of SMS messages:
• Event reminders for tournaments you RSVP'd to
• Notifications about new tournaments in your area
• Account verification codes
• Important account or platform updates
• Occasional promotional messages about platform features and partner offers
Message frequency: Recurring messages, frequency varies by your activity (typically 2–8 messages per month).
Costs: Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier plan.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You can also disable SMS in your account Settings page at any time. Once you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages.

Mobile information sharing: No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subprocessors necessary for delivering SMS messages (such as our SMS service provider Twilio) is permitted. All other categories of data shared are excluded from sharing exceptions.
Carriers are not liable: Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only in these limited cases:
Public profile: Your username, tier, points ranking, and any content you post publicly is visible to other users. You can set your profile to private in Settings.
Service providers (subprocessors): Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS messaging), Resend (transactional email), Tawk.to (live chat), and Google Analytics. Each subprocessor processes data only to the extent necessary to deliver their service to us, and each has their own privacy policies.
Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

• Newsletter: Unsubscribe at any time in Settings or via email link
• SMS messages: Reply STOP to any message, or disable in Settings
• Push notifications: Disable in Settings or your browser
• Account deletion: Email support@usapoolmadness.com and we'll delete your account and data within 30 days
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your theme preferences (dark/light mode, color). We use Google Analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
The Platform is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Some Platform features such as alcohol-serving venue listings are inherently intended for adults. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us immediately at support@usapoolmadness.com and we will delete the account.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Depending on your state, you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others) including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@usapoolmadness.com. We will respond within 45 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
